SSgt. Nichols is the Senior Drill Instructor for platoon 1141 filmed in the famous Marine Corps BootCamp Documentary called "Ears, Open. Eyeballs, Click." This documentary has played in film festivals all over the world and has aired on Direct TV Documentary Channel for the last several years.
SSgt. Nichols served 12 years in the Marine Corps. In March 2007, he left active duty to pursue some personal dreams and desires. His personal motivation lead him to become Co-Owner of 10 Convenience stores in the state of Louisiana for more than 2 years.
Growing both personally and professionally as an entrepreneur, SSgt. Nichols decided to return to Southern California to pursue new opportunities. He launched SSgtNichols.com, Moto Entertainment LLC. and the newest company - MDI8 (Motivational Drill Instruction 8 LLC).

From stepping on the yellow footprints at MCRD San Diego or Parris Island to recieving to the actual workouts, this is the real deal. No games are played and quitting during the process at anytime is not tolerated. Lots of hard work (physical and mental) as well as dedication is a big requirement. It all pays off when graduation time comes around, and the title of US MARINE is officially earned.

Motivational Drill Instruction 8 (MDI8) is a scalable Outdoor Functional Fitness Exercise Program established to build general physical preparedness. This proactive approach incorporates natural and realistic exercises like walking, running, sprinting, jumping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and landing that will prevent injuries and total body stamina.
